About Us - 60 Years Serving Colorado - Farm Bureau Insurance - Colorado
Our Beginnings Back in the 1940's and 50's, it was very difficult for farmers and ranchers to get insurance. So to solve the problem, members of Colorado Farm Bureau got together, and decided to create an insurance company. Colorado Farm Bureau Mutual Casualty Company was established in 1950 as a sponsorship of Colorado Farm Bureau.
Today, just 60 years later, Farm Bureau Insurance®*, as it is known today, has grown into a full service provider of insurance products and services. From humble beginnings, we have become a great service and benefit to the great members and supporters of Colorado Farm Bureau, a company dedicated to the mission of protecting the agricultural rights that affect all of Colorado.

Nationally
There is a Farm Bureau Insurance®* in almost every state in the country, each independently operated. If we were to combine all the Farm Bureau Insurance®* companies together, it is believed that we would be the third largest insurance company in the country.
